Traffic and Access
Traffic
A construction traffic management plan has been developed by our traffic consultant to advise the best way to manage our works and minimise impacts to the local pedestrians. This plan is in line with City of Merri-bek Council guidelines.
Access
During the civil works stage, trucks will enter and exit the site via Park Street through a left in left out configuration as shown in the map below. There will be a traffic controller on site to supervise and direct pedestrians, cyclists, traffic and construction vehicle movements as required.
Safety During Construction
Mirvac understands that managing safety and access during construction for the community is of paramount importance. The following measures will be in place to mitigate construction site hazards at Prince and Parade:
- • Traffic controllers will supervise vehicle, pedestrian and cyclist movements as required
- • Mirvac will maintain access for any emergency or evacuation
- • All gates will be securely locked and monitored outside work hours
- • Clear signage will define the entry and exit gates during construction
